THE POLARITY IN THE SIGNS Hi, welcome back to my blog, this is Rubi The polarity between the signs ensures the expression of the multiplicity of human nature. The polar in the zodiac is expressed by the so-called opposite signs. These signs are located 180° from each other. They can be found on opposite sides of the zodiacal wheel. But like all perfect opposites, they are also complementary. The opposite signs of the zodiac: - Aries and Libra                                                                       - Taurus and Scorpio - Gemini and Sagittarius - Cancer and Capricorn - Leo and Aquarius - Virgo and Pisces Element: Opposite signs are complementary to each other, in relation to the element to which they belong. The active elements, fire and air, complement each other. The same goes for the passive e...

THE HOUSES

THE TWELVE HOUSES Hello this is Rubi and welcome to my blog of this week!! The zodiacal wheel is made up of 12 houses, which have the archetypal energy of the 12 signs of the zodiac, from Aries to Pisces. The houses represent different "scenarios" of our life, which -regardless of the sign that is there in our birth chart- are related to the issues that govern the sign that represents them. In our birth chart, each house will correspond to a zodiac sign. And what does that mean? That life asks us that, in that area or scenario of our life, we act in tune with the energy of the sign that is at the top (which marks the beginning) of each house. House 1: The Ascendant It has the archetypal energy of Aries: energy of beginnings and how we go out into the world. Key concepts: me, physical, how other people see me. Energy that one radiates without necessarily realizing it. House 2 Taurus ruled: organic, confident, materialistic, concrete. Key concepts: value, money and self-esteem...

THE PLANETS

PLANETS IN ASTROLOGY Hello, this is Rubi and welcome to my blog!! When we want to understand the influences of the stars on the personality of our Sun sign, we have to know which is our ruling planet. Astrology considers ten planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Some astrologers also consider the celestial object Chiron in their readings. Each planet occupies a certain zodiac sign, giving it certain strengths and weaknesses. The planets are the active principle of Astrology. Since planetary positions vary from day to day, the planets make each birth chart unique. The positions they occupy on the chart are defined from the perspective of Earth, the place from which they are observed. Inner Planets The Greek civilization only knew of the five inner planets, which are visible to the naked eye: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. These, along with the Sun and the Moon, were called "wanderers" (in Greek, planetes). These are cons...

THE 4 ELEMENTS

THE 4 ELEMENTS Hello, welcome to my blog!!! The energy of the planets in the natal chart is filtered by the Elements: Fire, Earth, Water and Air. Each one has its own characteristics related to a specific function of the "I". The Celestial Sphere was created by a harmonious arrangement of the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Fire gives visibility and Earth tangibility; and these two elements form an indissoluble unity through the mediation of Water and Air. For Astrology, the four elements filter the energy of the planets in the birth chart: Fire, Earth, Water and Air, and each of the sun signs is part of one of these groups. - Fire with or spirit and intuition - Earth with body and matter - Air with the mind and intellect water with emotions Each of these elements has a gender or Negative Polarity (Feminine or Yin) or a Positive Polarity (Masculine or Yang). Remember that, in Astrology, the concept of "negative" is not a value judgment. Negative signs are...
